Join me for four beautiful weeks of happy, bright and colorful Birds, Blooms and Butterflies. This e-course is packed with lots of painting projects, tips and techniques. Plus, several fun crafty videos to bring the birds, blooms and butterflies out of your art journal and into your home.
Lessons include:
*Making a beautiful art journal to do all of your lessons in.
*Drawing – learn the basics and then we can build up from there.
*Color theory. Make your paintings bright and vibrant.
*Simple painting techniques to build a strong base.
*Mixed media techniques for adding depth and texture.
*Fun craft projects with paper, clay and rubber stamping.
We’ll be painting:
*Real birds with whimsy (owls, hummingbirds, ravens, etc) and made-up fantastical ones too.
*Big blooms and small blooms, lotus flowers, sunflowers, gardenias, magnolias and make believe blooms too.
*Insects with big beautiful wings, including butterflies and dragonflies.

Painting Supplies:
Acrylic paint -- colors of choice, metalic paints (gold, pearl, other), assorted paintbrushes, drawing pencils, eraser, gesso, watercolors, fine micron pens, stabilo marks all pencils (white & black), water spray bottle, white gesso, black gesso, matte medium or mod podge, baby wipes, sand paper (fine-med grit)
